HPS medium voltage transformers are designed for stepping down incoming higher voltage power to utilize voltages for commercial, institutional or industrial applications. The standard NEMA 3R rated ventilated construction is suitable for indoor or outdoor applications. Standard single phase units with aluminum or copper windings with ratings from 15kVA to 333kVA and three phase units with aluminum or copper windings with ratings from 15kVA to 750kVA are available. HPS transformers are available with aluminum and copper windings as a core & coil design, stubs up bus design in a ventilated enclosure or a standard bus to end design in a ventilated enclosure. Standard ratings from 500kVA, 1.2kV class up to 7500kVA, 34.5kV class.
