Role Overview:
Reporting to the Inside Sales Manager, this opportunity requires an individual to have practical knowledge of magnetic products including transformers, reactors and other assemblies of related components. This position will work with a regional and representative team to achieve the region’s sales budget goals and will manage all inside sales responsibilities for a specific customer base.
The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for the preparation of quotations, technical support, order entry and production tracking for a defined customer base. This role also requires participation in specialized project work of large quantity or complex orders. The successful candidate will ensure that specification accuracy is achieved while negotiating the best price possible. This position will also be responsible for task management and acts as the sales liaison with Engineering, Production and Shipping at multiple manufacturing facilities and warehouses.
Enthusiasm, customer-focused orientation and a flexible "can do" approach describes our successful candidate. Organization skills, as well as the ability to handle stressful situations and meet strict deadlines are necessary.
Requirements:

Post-secondary diploma/ degree/ certificate or technical school graduate with emphasis in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred

Minimum of 2 years of technical sales, or industry-related discipline & experience with Distribution markets

Demonstrate ability to develop rapport and relationships quickly (customers, Engineering, Production, Shipping)

Ability to learn and readily assimilate customer applications and specifications and apply complex technical information quickly
- Demonstrate strong external/internal oral & written communication skills

Proficient computer software skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel etc.)
