US Customer Support Specialist

Role Overview:

 Reporting to the US Distribution Inside Sales Manager, this opportunity requires an individual with extensive experience in customer service with a collaborative team attitude. 

 This position is responsible for entering and expediting orders destined for 6 manufacturing facilities and 8 warehouses, providing customers with open order reports, addressing all customer requests and responding within a set time frame. Additional responsibilities include maintaining customer information on systems, rep accountability to some extent, setting up new customers on database, handling all return goods and freight damaged concerns and maintaining a work station to remain organized and efficient and being a liaison between external customer and internal customer.

A motivated, customer-focused, “can do” attitude combined with the following capabilities describe the successful candidate:

Requirements:

  • Completion of high school, Post-secondary certificate or diploma in general business  preferred
  • 2-5 years experience in a customer service  or technical sales role
  • Demonstrate ability to develop rapport and relationships quickly (customers, Engineering, Production, Shipping)
  • Demonstrate high degree of professionalism, strong oral & written communication skills with solid telephone and email etiquette
  • Strong computer software and accurate data entry skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, 10 Key Pad etc..)
  • Beginner database or ERP knowledge would be beneficial
  • Requires a high attention to detail with a power to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to complete all task by the end of the day
